The main conflict of the film (and for the hero) is between the "epic" in past and the "civilian" routine in present, between the charismatic nature of the hero and his depression. It is also a conflict between parts of the film - reality and artistic vision (the world of humorous stories written by the hero).

Fewer American soldiers were killed in Vietnam than committed suicide after.

Civilian life after the fighting is a world that eventually leads the hero to suicide. The hero lacks "military" adrenaline, a real goal, worthy of his fame and public attention (reporters to whom the hero is accustomed).

Endless physical pain from injuries and contusions and - own demons - infantilism, laziness, alcoholism, conflict.

Peaceful life is gloomy days, smooth, "flooded" camera lighting, split-complimentary colors. An everyday picture in which there is no place for the "carnival of emotions" and the risks to which our "war addict" is accustomed.

The problem of rehabilitation of wounded war veterans in Ukraine is difficult to overestimate.

It is planned to attract Internet resources during the filming period and release a number of related materials to create public resonance and promote the project.

These are clips for YouTube, a wide discussion of the hero's essay, and reality episodes on Facebook (viral advertising).

Of particular importance is the positive ending of our history.

Addressing the terrible topic of post-traumatic stress disorder, the authors do not just give us hope - they offer a practical example of overcoming a severe crisis. And such a positive view is difficult to overestimate.

The ability to actually print a collection of the hero's works during the filming can accumulate a mutual effect from the film, the book and the content of social networks.

After all, the Talent project has every chance to fulfill the main task of art: by solving the problem of one person to show society a common solution, to change the worldview of many.
